Choose "Photo Paper Glossy", "Photo Paper Plus", or the closest match. Never use "Plain Paper" for photo paper.
Select "Best", "High", or "Photo" quality. Never use Draft for photos.
Match the setting to your actual paper: 4x6, 5x7, 8x10, Letter, etc.
Let the printer manage colors, or use ICC profiles for professional work.
Enable "Borderless" for edge-to-edge printing without white margins.
Fix: Calibrate your monitor. What you see on screen may not match the print. Also try different color settings in printer preferences (Vivid, Natural, sRGB).
Fix: Source image resolution too low. Use higher resolution images. For 4x6" at 300 DPI, you need at least 1200x1800 pixels.
Fix: Wrong paper type selected in settings, or using plain paper setting with photo paper. Also, let prints dry 5-10 minutes before handling.
Fix: Run print head cleaning and alignment. May indicate clogged nozzles. See our nozzle check page.
Fix: Store photo paper flat in original packaging. Feed one sheet at a time for thick paper. Make sure paper is loaded in correct tray/slot.
